Passion, Purpose, and Paws

All my life I have been blessed with a fun and loving family. A big part of this family has always been our furry, 4-legged members.  Originally from Kansas, and now settled in McAlester, Oklahoma, our home has never been truly complete without the sound of paws on the floor. While we’ve shared our life with many pets—including our two loyal dogs—my heart has always belonged to the feline world.

That lifelong devotion eventually led me to the majestic Maine Coon. What started as a deep admiration for their "gentle giant" nature evolved into The Whiskered Kitten, a TICA and CFA registered cattery. For us, breeding is about more than just beautiful kittens; it’s about honoring the breed’s intelligence and temperament while ensuring every cat is raised as a cherished family member.

Whether it's our Norwegian Forest Cat, Shadow, our first Maine Coon, Zara or our Kings and Queens, every animal in our home is a testament to why we do what we do: to share the incomparable joy of animal companionship with others.
