Passion, Purpose, and Paws

Throughout my life, family has always been at the heart of everything I do—and that family has always included our furry, 4-legged members.  Originally from Kansas and now happily settled in McAlester, Oklahoma, our home has never felt truly complete without the soft patter of paws on the floor. While we’ve shared our life with many pets—including our two faithful dogs—my heart has always belonged to the feline world.

That lifelong devotion eventually led me to the majestic Maine Coon. What began as a deep admiration for their regal physique, wild lynx tips, and affectionate "gentle giant" nature quickly grew into The Whiskered Kitten, a TICA and CFA registered cattery. For us, breeding is a true labor of love. We are dedicated to preserving the breed's intelligence, health, and sweet disposition while raising every kitten as a treasured member of our family. 

From our cherished Norwegian Forest Cat, Shadow, and our foundational Maine Coon, Zara, to our current Kings, Queens, and family dogs, every animal in our home reminds us why we started this journey: to share the incomparable joy of animal companionship with others. We believe that exceptional cats are born from kittens raised with exceptional care.  That's why every litter is raised in a nurturing environment with daily socialization and attentive care, ensuring our kittens grow into confident, affectionate companions ready to join your family.
